ISAHAYA standard IGBT gate driver board, contains the hybrid IC VLA597-01R (DIP-GAM), for all 1700V class Mitsubishi's NX7 IGBTs.
VLA598-11R was introduced in April 2019, considering the fact, that the new 7th generation of IGBT modules needs more gate power compared to the previous versions. VLA598-11R is comparable to VLA598-01R, but includes an active clamping function protecting against overvoltage spikes > 1500V. With Viso = 4000V this part is suitable for 1700V class IGBTs.
Isahaya VLA598-11R will be your perfect match to drive the more powerful Mitsubishi / Powerex NX7 dual module like CM300DX(P)-34T, CM450DX(P)-34T, CM600DX(P)-34T.
